Daisey Dukes.

Hi loves, this summer i'm dedicating my free time to fashion and photos. My best friend invited me out to her home town where she grew up, I was more then happy to go even though it was for only a day and a half. She grew up on the cutest farm, so much character and beauty every where. She took me site seeing to her friends and families farms, haunted farms and everything in between. We went swimming at the most prettiest lake i've seen so far in my life, there wasn't any leeches or seaweed to freak you out which if you knew me is kind of a big thing, I can't do bugs or slimy creatures. Of course I was inspired by the country life, horse back riding, plaid, cowboy boots (I know mine aren't real but I improvised lol), daisy dukes, cute curls. My friend laughed at me when she saw what I was wearing because I obviously watch to many movies and dressed as a cliche farmer or cowgirl, I figured the country called for country fashion, I soon realized I was the only one dressed like this in her town, we had a good chuckle. Seriously I didn't care though because I loved the simplicity and comfort of this outfit, I hope this inspires you to dress a little country. <3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Pink Lady

Hi Beautiful's, oh how i've missed blogging every other day, but at this point in my life i'm beyond busy and I'm lucky if I get enough sleep daily. I collaborated with an amazing local store called Tonic recently, the wonderful owner asked if I would model her new product and of course I was more than happy to go play dress up, get my make up done, and be photographed by an amazing local photographer Gina who's work is so amazing that we booked her for our wedding photos next year!. I felt like I was being dressed for an amazing upcoming event, everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I would definitely recommend shopping at Tonic if you're looking for trendy up to date pieces for example this adorable Paris bag! It's so fun and funky (I will suggest not carrying anything embarrassing in it though lol), or if your looking for those amazing staple pieces in your closet. Her store has so many fun and unique pieces I wanted to take them all home with me :D. There is two locations in the city, one downtown on 2nd ave and the other one is loacted right on broadway. I hope this inspires you to shop local and trendy. :) Xoxo - Poitrina <3
