Winter Wonderland

Hello lovelies, our city was gifted with the beauty of frost every where, I couldn't let the beauty of Mother Natures magic go unseen. So of course me and my bloggrapher braved the cold and headed out into the unknown to shoot my outfit. With the frost being so white and vibrant I wanted to wear black and darker colours to contrast. I wanted to show you some inexpensive pieces I bought at the closing out sale from Sirens, I was sad to see them go but happy to save money on everything they had in store. The last week they were charging everything for $5, so like any shopaholic I splurged for some cute affordable items. For example my shirt and skirt were a steal of a deal only costing $11 with tax, CRAZY I KNOW!!! I bought these adorable lace heels that I absolutely fell in love with and lucky me they had a matching clutch to go with it. The Jacket was a steal of a deal being on sale for an extra 20% off $15, I'm so happy I didn't leave it behind I literally wear it all the time. Thanks for reading, I hope this post inspires you. Xoxo - Poitrina  <3

Chinook

The reason I'm dressed like its still fall in the middle of our winter is because we are being blessed with a warm chinook that's melted half our snow with +4 weather, in reality it should be-30 with mountains of snow piled sky high. If your Canadian you know that we're a tad grateful seeing it can get as low as-50 where we live. I was inspired by the warm winter days to dress like a Lumber Jack/grunge hipster, I needed to keep it interesting by mixing every possible trendy style into a pile of randomness. I hope my crazy prints textures and style inspires you. <3 Xoxo - Poitrina

CoCo Made Me Poor.

Hello Dolls, I know it's been a while once again, but every few months I get randomly busy with life and work, so heres a new post of an outfit I styled a few weeks ago. As you may know my girls and I at work were entering a fashion contest our company was hosting, this was supposed to be one of my entries but was a tad to late. Even if we don't make the cut I will say it was a lot of fun dressing up and challenging myself to find new creative ways to wear old styles hanging in my closet. Every where I look I find this one to be the most popular right now, high waisted denim and a flannel plaid shirt hugging your waist. Very grunge/punk rock, personally one of my go to style's lately, especially since I don't always have a ton of time on my hands. If you have a ton of hair like me, we don't always have a lot of time to do it everyday, thank goodness for beanies, they're my life/time saver when I over sleep in the mornings. I know we're all guilty for pressing the snooze button once or twice lol. I hope this inspires you. Xoxo - Poitrina.<3

Chic Clash 2.0

Hello Dolls, this is my second look for Chic Clash, i'm mixing textures and prints with a dash of chicness. I've bin having so much fun trying new outfits and challenging myself to wear different styles that I never wore before. This isn't as loud as my last outfit as far as the colours, but I wanted to try out different textures, so I paired my faux fur vest with my silk snakeskin shirt for the Clash. I added the hat and tall boots to give it that little bit of Chic. We have one week left of this challenge and I love seeing everyone's looks on instagram, if you'd like to see some of the sweet styles check out #aldobestdressed hashtag to see what everyones been wearing these last few weeks. I hope this inspires you to Chic Clash. Xoxo - Poitrina

Chic Clash

As a few of you may know, me and my girls from CallItSpring have entered our best dressed contest at work and we're having a blast playing with all the different style challenges each week, last week our style challenge was Chic Clash. I had so much fun throwing together some of the craziest prints I own in my closet to pull together this look. At first I was skeptical about what I came up with, probably because it's not something I normally put together on a daily basis because this is really out there for me, but I have a feeling Chic Clash now has a permanent place in my heart and in my wardrobe. I hope my new found love for clashing prints inspires you as well.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Indian Summer

It's not to often we're blessed with indian summers in Saskatchewan, but this summer I think we might just have one. Thank goodness, our last few summers haven't bin treating us to well. I was feeling the boho look once again, there are a few pieces of items that have bin lying in my closet waiting to be worn, like this belt for example. I thrifted it a couple years ago, and this was the first time I wore it. I loved it a lot just couldn't decided what to pair it with lol. I'm keeping this post short and sweet, I hope it inspires your Indian Summer outfits.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina
