Chic Clash

As a few of you may know, me and my girls from CallItSpring have entered our best dressed contest at work and we're having a blast playing with all the different style challenges each week, last week our style challenge was Chic Clash. I had so much fun throwing together some of the craziest prints I own in my closet to pull together this look. At first I was skeptical about what I came up with, probably because it's not something I normally put together on a daily basis because this is really out there for me, but I have a feeling Chic Clash now has a permanent place in my heart and in my wardrobe. I hope my new found love for clashing prints inspires you as well.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Indian Summer

It's not to often we're blessed with indian summers in Saskatchewan, but this summer I think we might just have one. Thank goodness, our last few summers haven't bin treating us to well. I was feeling the boho look once again, there are a few pieces of items that have bin lying in my closet waiting to be worn, like this belt for example. I thrifted it a couple years ago, and this was the first time I wore it. I loved it a lot just couldn't decided what to pair it with lol. I'm keeping this post short and sweet, I hope it inspires your Indian Summer outfits.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Casual Fridays

Now I know it's not Friday but I Totally just noticed I've bin neglecting my blazers on the blog, mainly because +30 days, I would be ridiculous to layer up lol, but as the weather cools it's time to bust them out again. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. I hate winter, but I love to layer, and layering season has finally arrived, it's already snowing in the next province over :( . Anywho I was inspired by the fancy ladies walking around in their stilletos and suits down town, this is my take on Casual Friday. I know my business ladies out there get to wear jeans to the office on special occasions or casual Fridays. Business on top, casual on the bottom, I know i'm so lame for trying to steal the mullet reference lol. this post is dedicated to you, I hope it brings a little Casual Friday insporation to your office. Katy Perry Concert.

As many of you saw on my Instagram page my little sister and I were asked by the representative of CoverGirl to attend the Katy Perry Prismatic Tour show in Saskatoon on behalf of CoverGirl. I was in shock at first but more then ecstatic to accept the offer, how often does something this amazing come along in life? So my little sister and I picked out our outfits all night, making sure we were Katy Perry worthy, because she's the queen of fun and funky fashion. We even made a late-night trip to the store to pick up some CoverGirl products to wear to her show. We were aiming for over the top chic, we wanted to stand out in the crowd. I figured my feather skirt screamed look at me! My sister wanted to dress more funky and relaxed. I hope this inspires you for your future concerts. Thanks again CoverGirl for the amazing experience and a huge thank you to Procrastinatingpretty on Instagram for finding me<3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Katy Perry's even more stunning in person, I know crazy! she's also very funny and kind, it was a fun night, so happy I got to share it with my best friend/sister.<3

Just In

So I was thinking to myself the other day and I decided I wanted to start blogging about my affordable fashion finds, and if you live in the same city, where you can also find them. This is for my ladies who are on a budget so you can get inspired to shop the sale sections. Starting as of now i'm limited to a $50 spending spree every payday, because my fiancé, family and I are planning a 10 day trip some where tropical, since its super long, i'll definitely need some extra spending cash on top of paying for the trip, so I can experience what ever our destination has to offer. Lets get started, how adorable are these shoes! All for the price of $2.50 each I couldn't resist a good sale, especially a shoe sale, with each pair being originally $12.50 each I saved about $30 on these bad boys, plus how cute is the cheetah print and plaid, I see plaid in every store this fall. The skirts are my must have fall essentials, they can also be rocked all year round, can't go wrong with some pleather pencil skirts, the zippered skirt is on sale for $15 originally $50 so I saved $35 on this bad a** piece. The second pleather pencil skirt is Vero Moda, on sale for $10 originally $55 so I saved a whopping $40, I plan on layering these bad boys with tights and blazers and cute cardigans. The statement necklace was a 2 for 1 deal where you buy one and the lower priced item is free, can never go wrong with free. I hope it inspires you to shop sale sections more often.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina
