New Years Eve

A new beginning is just right around the corner, still stuck on what to wear out, anything sparkly or dressy always works. This is something I would wear to a more dressy event, the white button up shirt gives it a little bit more class. The pleated skirt with peekaboo lace adds texture and sexiness to the plain shirt I paired it with. The plaid coat and faux fur scarf is an eye catcher, they say when someone wears red they are more sexually appealing. I know the internet is never always right but the colour always catches my eye. If you want to be dead centre of attention opt for an all red dress with red lips and let the magic happen. Since I wasn't in anything super sparkly, I added the big statement necklace to amp  up the look just a little bit more. I hope this inspires you to get dressed up and have an amazing new years. Staple Pieces

Sometimes all you need is one really good statement piece to make your plain jane outfit stand out. As you can see all my pieces are one colour and as plain as it gets, but with this coat I picked up and a little bit of bling and a good lippie, it ties everything together nicely. I found this amazing jacket at Urban Planet, one of my many favourite places to shop, you can save and find some sweet staple pieces. I love the colour, it compliments my dark brown hair allowing my curls to pop. Since I kept all the other pieces neutral I decided a pop of colour was needed, I used this amazing matte lipstick I got from Sephora for only $16, I love it so much, it lasts for hours and hours of eating, kissing and accidentally licking your lips lol. I hope this inspires you to find staple pieces for a steal of a deal. Xoxo - Poitrina <3

Corn Maze

Hello Loves, as always I know i've been MIA for a while once again, I miss blogging and shooting so much, but my life is super busy and demanding at the moment. This was from a fall shoot when we went to the Corn Maze form my little sisters 22nd birthday. It was a lot of fun, we may or mat not have cheated and took short cuts haha. I love mixing prints, especially strips and plaid. This look is a little bit of everything, grunge, laid back, french-ish. Very laid back vibe but could still dressey enough to go to events or hanging out with friends for coffee. I guess its safe to say it's a hot mess that turned out somehow. All the pieces i'm wearing are a bit older and may not be available still but I'm sure you fashionista's have something similar or even better to try out this look. I hope this inspires your inner hot mess. Xoxo - Poitrina <3
