Young Wild & Free

I was inspired by the beautiful yellow and green plants growing wildly in our prairies, well I mean, thanks to the many farmers in our area, you guys are awesome. Anyway I was feeling a little urban boho again, this is a look I would totally rock to an outside festival, if I were to attend one anytime soon of course lol. I based my entire outfit on this amazing hat I thrifted for $1, my Mother introduced me to an amazingly priced thrift shop my Kukom (Grandmother) showed her years ago, I swear nothing's over $5. My dress was another one of those great 3-$10 deals I was telling you about in my last post. My boots were on sale one spring, so of course I couldn't leave them behind for that price, plus their super comfy to walk in for long period of time. I hope my outfits are inspiring you beautiful people. Xoxo - Poitrina

I'm So Fancy

I was on the hunt for a floor length kimono for a couple weeks, I even asked my best friends to let me know if they come across any on they're shopping trips, thanks by the way besties. After searching high and low for what felt like forever I finally found this beauty sitting in the sale section of Urban Planet in Midtown Plaza. It was in one of those amazing sales they always have where you buy three or four things for the price of 10-15 dollars, I mean come on really!!! How can you resist such a sweet deal? You basically get four things for the price of one. Since the sun was finally shining and it was super hot out, I wanted to throw on something simply chic that would keep me cool and fancy. If I were to attend a sweet yacht party this is something I would rock on board. Even though I don't live any where near an ocean lol. I hope this inspires you Fashionistas. <3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Androgyny

I literally threw this outfit together in a meer 5 minutes, I was running late for work and it was gloomy and chilly out, I didn't feel like freezing so I put on some warmer clothes (even though the sun decided to come back.. Uhhg Saskatoon weather I KNOW!). I bought these adorable black suspenders a few months ago from Wal-Mart for $20, seeing as some men spend almost $100 on ties I figured it was a pretty good deal. I finally decided it was time to put my sweet purchase to some good use because whats the point of having something if its just going to sit there and collect dust (half my closet) lol. I wanted to try the feminine masculant trend I've bin obsessing over lately, I kept my outfit very simple black and white because sometimes I need a little simplicity in my crazy life. I hope this post inspires you, stay fashionable. Xoxo - Poitrina

Mixing Prints 2.0

Hello beautiful beings, as a few of you may know I have blogged about mixing prints a few times now. As every season comes and goes there are newer styles and prints to mix. This summer is florals and stripes, I seriously can't get enough of these two patterns combined. With that being said here is my take on mixing these fashionable prints. I found this adorable A-line skirt from Bryan's in Midtown Plaza for a steal of a deal that I couldn't resist. My top is from Urban Planet, with both items being very neutral I decided that a pop of colour was needed to spice things up. My jewellery is various pieces layered to give it a funner and fuller look. I hope this post inspires you. Xoxo - Poitrina
