Plaid

You all know my obsession for plaid is out of this world! If I had to choose one pattern this would probably be it lol. So lets talk about this jacket, I found this cute sherpa plaid jacket at Winners... in the PAJAMA section haha, I know your all probably like wtf? When I picked it up I thought maybe it was misplaced there because why would this be in there. Well, I was wrong it says sleep wear on the tag inside, I figured why not rock it as one, since I thought it was a jacket that it would obviously pass as one and it's definitely as warm as one when layered. The fabric its made of is so in right now, literally all the jackets and sweaters are being made with the sherpa style fabric. I honestly don't even know how to describe this look lol, it's a casual, chic relaxed look? Either way I love how it came together when I was scrambling to through this look together, I will say though my girl does inspire me! if your not already following her on the Gram do yourself a favour & hit follow @Rachsemag. I hope this inspires you to layer fun patterns and styles together! Xoxo - Poitrina.<3

Pink Sherpa

This jacket is everything, I'm obsessed with how fluffy and how pink it is! My girlfriend bought it and I just had to have it as well. This jacket is located at Urban Planet and they were having a sweet sale when I picked this and the cheetah print coat up for buy one get one for a penny, you know me and my deals. If I can get something thats trendy for a trendy price I'm all about it. With the pink I decided to keep my clothing palette lighter to compliment the pink coat. My knee high boots are my favourite pair and the beige colour goes so well with my outfit and the lighter colours I picked out. I would wear this outfit out shopping and hanging with my weirdo friends whom I love so much, I hope this inspires you to find fun colourful jackets to rock this season! Xoxo - Poitrina <3

Remai

It has been a million years since my last post, I truly apologize for my absence but pregnancy and child birth really takes it out of you. I'm starting to feel a little bit more better as each day goes by. I'm so excited to start sharing more outfits and blogs about me and my sweet Serenity's outfits and our daily lives. Lets start with this amazing new art building The Remai Modern that just opened up a few weeks ago. Saskatoon doesn't have a whole ton of amazing buildings like this so it was super exciting to be able to get out of the cold and check out the amazing set ups they had and to shoot this fun outfit I put together. Lets start with this trending cheetah print trench I found at Urban Planet for a sweet deal, they had buy one get one for a penny so I bought a cute pink shearling coat that will be up on the blog soon as well. This coat screams rebel or grunge to me so I paired it with a band tee and some black American Apparel leggings I thrifted a while ago for $2, I know what a steal. I found my band tee at Winners for $12 and my sweet booties are from Call It Spring I bought a couple years ago. I love having items that will never go out of style hence why I buy everything in black lol. Well, I hope this inspires your inner grunge. Xoxo - Poitrina <3

Summer days

Over sized T's are life, they're easy and comfortable, paired with a denim jacket to give it a little flavour and fun. I found this cute T shirt dress on a day trip to Calgary a while back, before my baby bump exploded, I bought it in XL because I knew I'd grow into it eventually. I love the lace up detailing on the collar, it gives it a little bit of spice and edge. I was going for a laid edgy look, added my furry slides for some fun, I see them every where now but I bought these from Aldo before I finished working there. Also obsessed with my faux leather sports hat I found at Artizia for $35, definitely got my moneys worth because I wear it all the time. I hope my laid back edgy outfit inspires you. <3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Overalls

Overalls aren't the easiest to pull off, especially if your two months shy of being nine months pregnant. So thankful I found these comfortable stretchy ones from Bluenotes, Obviously I couldn't button them all the way up but beggars can't be choosers lol. I love them so much because once our little gal arrives I'll still be able to rock them but they'll hopefully be a little more like a boyfriend fit. Decided to pair a simple white tee tucked in to keep the look simple and effortless. As an exhausted pregnant women/almost mom to be I'll need to perfect easy and effortless once our world will revolve around our tiny humans. First time rocking some flats because the water weight is taking over and heels just aren't something I can handle for the time being. Which is fine because its summer and these ones add to my effortless look I'm striving for. Hope this inspires you. Xoxo - Poitrina <3

Sunsets

Living on the prairies means we get the prettiest sunsets in the summer. I've only captured a few due to pregnancy exhaustion, thats ok though because there is always next year and we'll have our little bundle of joy with us. I want to start off by saying wow my husband is getting much better at taking photos, it's not his strong suit and he's really learning so I'm very proud of him. Now lets talk about this cute lace dress I found at Urban Planet for only $15, its fitted but I bought it a bit larger so I could breath in it lol. The thing I love most about UP is that they have some pretty cute things for affordable prices. Nothing is cuter then some lace and denim on the prairie, decided to do some country boho vibes because you all know I'm obsessed with easy care free clothes. Keeping it short and sweet, hope it inspires your inner boho country girl.<3 Xoxo - Poitrina

Sibylline

Coming at you with another great find! I found this burgundy gem at the annual sidewalk sale at one of my favourite local shops Tonic. Originally it was $78 and I got it for a steal of a deal at $25, it was the last one and it fit me and the baby belly so I couldn't leave it behind. Even if my belly makes it short I can always pair it with jeans or leggings as a long shirt for the fall. I'm obsessed with my straw hat I got from Aldo, its very structured and large which I love, I must own this hat in at least three different styles now. Decided to accessories black to tie in with the brim of the hat, of course I had to pair gold in there to add to the warmth of the outfit. Keeping this post sweet and short, I hope this inspires your fancy boho self! Xoxo - Poitrina <3
